Synopsis

6th June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the largest naval, air and land operation in history, which departed from Portsmouth in 1944. Gibsons have partnered with internationally renowned aviation artist Matthew Emeny and Help for Heroes to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of those who took part in the D-Day landings, and to support the work of the Help for Heroes charity. Gibsons are contributing 7% of the selling price of each Portsmouth Flypast puzzle to Help for Heroes (Registered Charity Number 1120920). This puzzle image features two iconic Spitfire aircraft flying over Portsmouth and the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier being towed out of port. All Gibsons puzzles are made from 100% recycled puzzle board - the thickest puzzle board on the market. We use vegetable-based inks and our boxes are securely sealed with biodegradable clear labels to reduce plastic waste.
