Pirlo is the player many fans would love to be. He may not be the very best of all time, but his style makes him a joy to behold even when he is the opponent. His style & philosophy oozes off the pages of this great little book. An arrogance based on the evidence of numerous glorious matches emanates but doesn't irritate like in some less talented players' biographies and his insight into coaches he has worked with is fascinating. It is in fact the relationships with players, coaches and managers that make this book the success it is. It is an honest account of football played at the highest level and a book which is a delight to read in one sitting.
